The Precor UBK 615 doesn't require any electric power source. It is a self powered bike, which means that the console would be activated at the moment you start pedaling. When the pedals are in a horizontal position, the forward knee is positioned directly over the ball of the foot. This is achieved by the biomechanically correct geometry of the seat. It post angle is 74 degrees with a 5-inch (13 cm) offset from the crank axle. This is the key to efficient pedaling and reduced shear force on the knee. The single stage, eddy current resistance system with a 3-phase generator is designed to yield smooth, quiet operation and a consistent resistance progression. Morevoer, the UBK 615 handlebar design offers the user three comfortable riding positions: upright, cruising and road.

The large computer console features green LED display. It comes with 6 preset workout programs (accessed directly by 6 buttons), including: Manual, Interval, Weight Loss, Hill Climb, Basic Heart Rate Control, and Random. Optionally, you can order the console with a wireless receiver, or iPod / iPhone compatible console, or 15-in. screen.
